"The Oculus"

In New York's Lower Manhattan, architect Santiago Calatrava's Oculus transportation hub rose from the debris of the September 11th terrorist attacks, as an organic form within a field of towers and the memorials representing them. The Oculus is the subject of a new book, published by Assouline. It serves as the centerpiece of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, incorporating 78,000 square feet of multi level state-of-the-art retail and dining.
